I am a Vietnamese missionary, coffee enthusiast, entrepreneur, and personal coach dedicated to servant leadership, character growth, and spiritual counselling. Since accepting Christ in 2006, I have mentored many young people, guiding them on their faith journeys and encouraging them to live with purpose.
Currently, I serve at the Toronto Vietnamese Alliance Church, where I equip students and young professionals to follow Jesus’ teachings and positively impact their communities. As a husband to Mai and father to Oscar and Amy, I strive to demonstrate Christlike character in my family and ministry. Through my writing, coaching, and online training programs, I inspire believers to pursue godliness, lead meaningful lives, and act with compassion.
My Story
I never imagined I would be moving my family to Canada. Years ago, I was headed down a totally different path. But God has a gentle way of preparing us quietly, shaping us slowly, and then turning us in a new direction at just the right time.
My journey with Jesus started in 2006 in Vietnam, and that moment changed everything for me. From the very beginning, I felt a strong burden for young people—students who were confused, overwhelmed, hungry for meaning, and searching for something real. I began walking alongside them, listening, guiding, one conversation at a time. I didn’t realize it at the time, but God was preparing me for something much bigger.
Over the next eighteen years, I had the privilege of working with youth in more than fourteen countries. I met thousands of young people carrying fears, pressures, temptations, loneliness, and questions they felt afraid to ask anyone. I listened to their stories, their struggles, their hopes, and their pain. And my heart grew even more passionate for them each year. My calling became clear: to help the next generation grow in character, find their identity in Christ, and live with purpose.
Then, after attending the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., God completely changed my route. I came to Toronto thinking it would be only a short visit. But the moment I arrived in this city, I felt a gentle tug in my spirit—this is where I was meant to be. What was meant to be two weeks turned into a divine assignment.
Today, I serve at the Toronto Vietnamese Alliance Church, working closely with international students and young professionals. Many of them feel lost in a new country, overwhelmed by expectations, battling inner struggles, or feeling spiritually dry. I understand their battles because I’ve spent years listening to stories just like theirs. And every day, God allows me to guide them—helping them rebuild discipline, rediscover faith, and find their way again.
At home, I’m grateful to be a husband to Mai and a father to Oscar and Amy. They remind me daily why character matters. They remind me that faith isn’t just something we learn—it’s something we live out. They are one of the biggest reasons I wrote.
